Effective Date: August 4, 2026
This notice is for parents and legal guardians. It explains, in one place, what information Ball 101 collects about your child, how your consent works, and the controls you have. It is provided under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). The operator of Ball 101 is:
Saga Group LLC
P.O. Box 173, Friendswood, TX 77549
privacy@saga.group | support@saga.group | legal@saga.group
The free preview requires no account and collects no personal information; a count of preview plays is stored only on the device. A child profile cannot be created, and no information about a child can exist in our systems, until your consent has been recorded.
Your consent is given through a completed subscription purchase in your app store account. A monetary transaction is a consent method recognized under COPPA (16 C.F.R. § 312.5(b)) because it verifies that a paying adult account holder took a deliberate action. When your purchase completes, we record the consent together with the store transaction identifier, the date, and the version of this notice, and we retain that record for 7 years as COPPA requires. You are consenting to the collection and use of your child's information exactly as described in Section 3, and nothing more.
Every item below is created by you or by your child's play inside the App:
| Information | Source | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| First name or nickname | You | So the App can greet your child and label their progress for you |
| Play level or difficulty band (for example, tee ball or coach pitch) | You | A content setting so scenarios match your child's level. We do not collect your child's age or date of birth |
| Preferred positions | You or your child, in the App | To serve position-relevant scenarios |
| Avatar selection and earned avatar items | Your child's play | A game feature |
| Gameplay answers and progress (plays answered, correctness, stars, streaks, mastery) | Your child's play | To adapt practice and to show you progress |
We do not collect from your child: last name, age or date of birth, photographs, audio, video, precise location, phone number, email address, device contacts, or school or team affiliation. The App has no chat, no messaging, and no public profiles, and it does not request access to the camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or location.
Two of these are permanent commitments rather than current practice: we will not collect biometric identifiers or body measurements, and we will not add camera or microphone capture, in this or any future version of the App. The rest of this section describes how the App works today. If any of it changes we will update this notice, and where the change materially affects what we collect from your child we will notify you and obtain your consent again, as described in Section 7.
Your child's information is used only to operate the App: serving appropriate practice content, saving progress, and reporting that progress to you. It is never sold, never used for advertising of any kind, never used to train third-party artificial intelligence models, and never disclosed to any third party for that party's own use. The only parties that process it are the service providers that host and operate the App on our behalf, listed in Section 7 of our Privacy Policy, under written terms restricting them to processing on our behalf.
At any time, you may:
Exercising these rights never requires payment, and we will never penalize your account for a privacy request. Please note that deleting your account does not cancel your app store subscription; cancel in your store account settings. The App shows you how before deletion.
If we materially change what we collect from children or how we use it, we will update this notice, notify parents, and obtain new consent where required by law. The version date of the notice you consented to is stored with your consent record.
